Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 151 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3,150 students aged between 3 and 18 years across 3 main campuses.

The College is now seeking expression of interest from sports coaches to coach 2017 / 2018 Summer Sport teams (Badminton, Cricket, Diving, Softball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Rowing, Swimming, Volleyball).

All applications must include the preferred campus location to coach (Glen Waverley, St Kilda Road or Elsternwick), nomination of the Year Level and Sport to coach, details of relevant qualifications and availability in the cover letter.

The summer season will begin for most teams during the week of Monday 23 October 2017 and continue until the final round of sport on Saturday 2 December (training will restart after the Christmas holiday break in February 2018). Again training will be available across Monday – Friday afternoons generally between 2.30 – 5.30pm.

There may also be some coaching opportunities within the year 5/6 sports program.

The coach is required to have good knowledge of the sport, and with the Head Coach develop the skills, game sense and strategy for competition matches. A Level 1 (or higher) coaching accreditation is preferred.

All employees of Wesley College are required to obtain current:

  • Employment Working With Children Check
  • National Police Name Check

In addition to the above compliance checks, all casual staff are required to complete the College Sports online training module containing relevant Wesley College policies and procedures.
