Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 151 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3150 students aged between 3 and 18 years.

Based at our Elsternwick campus, we are seeking an outstanding teacher to lead the development of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) for the campus.

The MYP Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for the pedagogical leadership, management and oversight of MYP curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 7 to 9. The MYP Curriculum Coordinator is expected to display thought leadership and to promote creative, innovative thinking among colleagues in regard to curriculum, pedagogy and learning in line with the values of both Wesley College and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).

We welcome applications from individuals who are innovative, inquiring and enthusiastic, and have a genuine commitment to professional and personal growth and development. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead a team of educations and model excellent pedagogical practice in working with teachers and in the context of their classroom teaching load. Experience in the MYP is highly regarded.

This position is full time and ongoing, with a teaching allocation of 0.60 FTE.
