Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 154 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3,400 students aged between 3 and 18 years across 3 main campuses.
The Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School is a major educational initiative of the unique partnership between the Bunuba Aboriginal people of the Fitzroy Valley in the Kimberley, Western Australia, and the community of Wesley College, Melbourne.
The primary role of the Assistant Cook is to provide ongoing assistance to the Senior Cook who is to provide adequate healthy meals to all students, staff and visitors whilst at the Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School. The Assistant Cook is also required to undertake other duties and assist the Senior Cook with menu planning, procurement of food, beverages and cleaning materials and to provide relief cooking whilst the Senior Cook is on rostered days off. This role will include some housekeeping duties. This is a live-in position on campus.
