Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes, and the Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School in the Kimberley, Western Australia.
The College is seeking to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to a full time and ongoing position.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role reports to the Strategy and Performance Manager and is responsible for the management and oversight of the College's HPE Aruba network and Microsoft Azure environment.
The role will act as the key liaison between the College and external vendors related to the management and monitoring of the college network infrastructure, Microsoft support and telecommunications.
The role requires someone who is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in networks and cloud-based software operations. This position will also work closely with the management team and support the activities of colleagues involved in support of students and staff.
