Job Description
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
We have opportunities for a Boys First XVIII Assistant Coach – Football (AFL) and Boys 10A Coach – Football (AFL) to provide specialist coaching services and development activities to improve and develop the Wesley College football program within our senior boys' program. These positions are temporary part-time and/or casual commencing in January 2025.
These coaches will understand the needs of athletes, contribute to a positive team environment with a personal commitment to excellence and the ability to positively influence and inspire others. It is expected that these coaches attend all training sessions (weekdays, weekends, holidays), designated games and camps, meetings, professional development and other Wesley College football activities and functions.
Applicants should have national accreditation, football experience as a coach or manager, and coaching experience at a high level.
