Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.  With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for positions as casual Library Technician working across our St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley, and Elsternwick campuses, commencing in December 2024.

The Library Technician is responsible for the day to day running of the library. This involves maintaining rosters, bookings, general liaison, and being responsible for the physical environment of the library. The role includes promotions for the library which may be displays, tours, multimedia presentations for the electronic screens and special events. The Library Technician also has an administrative function and will have a strong interest in the student day to day learning, and mindfully support this with all the library's physical and online resources.

We welcome applications from individuals who possess an ALIA recognised Diploma qualification, have a strong knowledge of Children's and Young Adult Literature and experience working with students and teachers in a school library.
