Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.  With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana, Lochend and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Clarinet and Saxophone Music Tutors. This is a part-time (0.75 FTE, approx. 3 days) ongoing position based at our Elsternwick Campus.

The successful applicant will have the ability to build a strong foundational technique on the clarinet, enabling students to transition confidently to the saxophone.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be suitably qualified and experienced in teaching both clarinet and saxophone
• Be proficient in both classical and jazz styles
• Have experience teaching students across Years 5–9 at a variety of skill levels
• Have demonstrated experience directing a Jazz Band
