Job Description
Wesley College is seeking to appoint a Head of the Wesley College Foundation.
This role will be responsible for leading and developing Wesley College's Foundation strategy, with a focus on securing financial support from private, corporate, and philanthropic entities and stakeholders. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that Wesley College has the resources needed to continue its tradition of excellence in education, student development, and community engagement.
As the Head of the Wesley College Foundation, you will work closely with senior leadership, alumni, and stakeholders to cultivate, solicit, and steward Foundation partnerships, ensuring alignment with Wesley College's mission and strategic goals. You will also play a critical role in advancing the College's fundraising efforts, specifically through building long-term relationships with Foundations to support scholarships, capital projects, and other key initiatives.
The Head of the Wesley College Foundation reports to the Director of Community Engagement and is responsible for leading the Foundation's strategic fundraising and campaign initiatives.
This role oversees the Foundation team, including the Senior Development Lead (Major Gifts) and the Bequest Manager (Sapere Aude Bequest Society). The Head of the Wesley College Foundation also collaborates closely with key members of the Community Engagement team - particularly those in Alumni Relations (Old Wesley Collegians Association) - as well as colleagues in Marketing and Admissions.

The Organisation
Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 155 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3,350 students aged between 3 and 18 years. The school offers a rich and comprehensive program promoting not only excellent academic results, but also a concentrated focus on the Arts, Sport, Outdoor Education and Community.
Wesley College comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
