Job Description
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
We have an opportunity for a Boys 10A Rowing Coach to provide specialist rowing coaching services and development activities to improve and develop the Wesley College rowing program within our Year 10 boys program.
This position is temporary fixed term starting August 2025 to April 2026, working in a part-time capacity.
The Boys 10A Rowing Coach will understand the needs of athletes, contribute to a positive team environment with a personal commitment to excellence and the ability to positively influence and inspire others. The coach is expected to attend all training sessions (weekdays, weekends, holidays), designated regattas, camps, rowing meetings, professional development sessions, and other Wesley College rowing activities and events.
Applicants should have national accreditation, school rowing experience as a rowing coach or manager, and coaching experience at a high level.
