Job Description
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
The College is seeking to appoint multiple ITS Level 1 support roles. Level 1 Support serves as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing frontline technical assistance to users. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure quick issue resolution, efficient service delivery, and a seamless user experience by addressing common IT problems or escalating more complex issues to higher support levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver first-level IT support across hardware, software, and applications via multiple channels
- Set up, relocate, and maintain IT equipment for staff, students, and classrooms
- Resolve common issues and escalate complex ones as needed
- Manage user accounts and support Office 365 applications
- Log and track requests in ServiceNow; monitor queues for timely resolution
- Maintain support documentation and ensure effective user communication
- Provide remote and on-site support; handle IT deliveries and workspace upkeep
- Monitor systems, escalate alerts, and support after-hours when required
