Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Out of School Hours Assistants to join our after-school care program at our Elsternwick campus. There are 2 x permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) positions available for commencement in 2026.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.
- Support daily routines such as sign-in/out, snack times, indoor/outdoor play, and maintain accurate attendance and dismissal records.
- Set up and pack away program spaces, keeping materials clean, organised and well presented.
- Assist in delivering activities and experiences that promote children's development, wellbeing and interests.
- Provide basic care support to students, including assistance during meals/snacks, personal care and general wellbeing needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required for one of the two roles available. Applicants without this qualification are still encouraged to apply.
- Have experience working in a similar position is preferred
- Have a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration, Early Childhood Diploma or Working with Children Check
