Job Description
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
We are seeking a passionate and innovative French Teacher for a part-time (0.33 FTE), temporary position, based at our Glen Waverley Campus. This position will commence at the beginning of the Term 2, 2026 until the end of the 2026 school year.
Part time French teacher required for a Year 5 and Year 6 French class. Experience with the AIM method and the PYP would be advantageous but not essential. Timetable is across three days (Mon, Thurs, Fri) and can be provided prior to application if requested.
Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching is essential for this position. Candidates who do not hold registration will not be considered.
