Job Description
Wesley College Melbourneis one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. Established in 1866, a school of the Uniting Church, the College now has an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12 and comprises three metropolitan campuses – Melbourne (St Kilda Road), Glen Waverley and Elsternwick. Outdoor education sites are at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a unique Year 9 residential campus is located at Clunes.
The College is seeking to appoint an Admissions Manager – St Kilda Road and Elsternwick campuses for a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the College Head of Admissions, this role is an important leadership position within the Community Engagement team and is pivotal to the commercial success of the College.
The Admissions Manager will lead the St Kilda Road and Elsternwick Admissions team to achieve enrolment targets, implement effective admissions processes, and deliver exceptional service to prospective families.
Key aspects of the role include building strong relationships with prospective families, leading and supporting a small team, managing campus tours and open days, overseeing accurate enrolment reporting and data management, and working collaboratively with campus leadership and the broader Admissions team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication, customer service and presentation skills.
- Experience in admissions, education, or customer relationship management (preferred).
- High-level database and computer literacy.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
