Job Description
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, highly engaging, and experienced Visiting Music Teachers (Jazz & Classical Saxophone/Woodwind) for a casual position at our St Kilda Road Campus. Proven ability to teach improvisation is essential. Experience is teaching a range of woodwind instruments is desirable, but not essential. This position is available for commencement at the beginning of Term 3, 2026.
Students can fall with the range of Year 5 to Year 12. The current load is still to be confirmed, dependent on enrolment numbers.
