1st Boys Cricket Coach (College) Sport – Temporary
Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
Wesley College is seeking a progressive and experienced 1st Boys Cricket Coach to lead its 1st XI Boys Cricket program in the APS/AGSV competitions. This is a part-time, fixed-term position with the in-season months being from August through to April each year.
The successful candidate will bring a modern and dynamic coaching philosophy, with a strong focus on player development, teamwork and performance. They will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging training sessions, providing leadership on match days and creating a positive environment in which students can develop their skills and reach their potential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated cricket coaching experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and the broader College community. Relevant coaching qualifications and experience within a school or high-performance cricket environment would be highly regarded.
